JV boys earn Thunder’s first win

The KIPP Thunder junior varsity team has won their first game of the season. Playing against EPC Tuesday, November 15, the boys worked together to bring home a victory.

”Before the game and made sure the players that were afraid unafraid and knew the plays and had their heads in the game,” Veiontae Cork said.

Ending with a score of 35-37, the JV boys won by 2 points.

”I was excited that we won the game and it motivated to know that we can win this season,” Joemario Brown said.
